"Martin Dinan has one of the most demanding and scrutinised jobs in Australia right now."

Martin Dinan has one of the most demanding and scrutinised jobs in Australia right now – managing the Project Control Centre for the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Martin is employed by Maxima Tempskill on behalf of SA Health to lead the 90-day test period of the new $2 billion facility and manage the Project Control Centre.

The role has been critical in the handover of the new RAH from its builders to the SA Government and the successful opening of the hospital in September 2017.

Many people would be daunted by such a complex role, but Martin jumped at the opportunity to use his impressive change management experience in the UK on a project that it so important to his hometown of Adelaide.

After gaining a degrees in Arts and Business, Martin moved to the UK to work in senior roles for the biggest names in investment banking. Most of these were global projects. Martin also served in the Australian Army, and later in the British Army in Iraq in 2003. In 2009 and 2010, he was Chief of Staff – (Rear) for a 6,500-person deployment to Afghanistan, remaining in the UK and managing the 1,200 personnel in the UK and Germany that did not deploy.

Martin said his role through Maxima at the RAH was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work on a global-level project. “I’m thoroughly enjoying working in a very passionate team. Our project has attracted the very best people in change management / project management and I’m delighted to be part of it.”

He is also delighted with Maxima. “They’ve been wonderful – a very professional and responsive group of people. I’ve been particularly impressed with the way in which they interact with their potential and current employees and would recommend their services highly.”
