Contract Administrator
Maxima are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator for their Civil Construction client based in Narangba.
This role will see you assisting the Project Manager with the administrative functions of projects in accordance with their management systems, client and contractual requirements and associated documentation.
This position is a casual role with the view of permanency for the right candidate with a casual hourly rate negotiable between $45-$50 per hour + super depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Identify and prepare a list of suitable subcontractors for a project
- Prepare tender packages (including scope of works, drawing transmittals,
specifications, variation register, BOQ) and distribute to supervisors/ foreman/ leading hand - Receive and review all submitted tender packages for correct scope of
works so best possible price and services can be obtained - Negotiate subcontractor contract prices and conditions and prepare final
contract documents - Distribute labour allocation schedules and allocate cost codes
accordingly - Analyse budgets to achieve management targets
- Prepare and review monthly Cost Reports with the Project Manager to
track target and forecast final costs - Coordinate shop drawing submissions and approvals
To Be Successful:
- Current C class driver's license
- Knowledge and understanding of the commercial construction industry
- Knowledge and understanding of contract terms and conditions
- General knowledge of CAD
- Relevant tertiary qualification e.g Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Understanding of Quality Assurance requirements
- Understanding and knowledge of project management principles and delivery methods
