The Role:

Maxima, and Newmont, are seeking a motivated individual to undertake a Business Traineeship as an Admin Assistant/Receptionist. This full time role is based in Newmont’s Subiaco Office. 

Throughout this traineeship you will receive paid practical, industry experience and allocated study time within your working week to achieve a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Duties Include:

  • Answer incoming and outgoing enquiries via phone and emails
  • Data entry
  • Coordinate freight to and from the office
  • Assist with office access
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Support teams to create and distribute communications
  • Assist to develop and implement initiatives and programs
  • Provide exceptional customer service to various stakeholders
  • Additional administrative duties as required

  • Passionate about environmental sustainability
  • Showcases initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail
  • Works effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has effective organisational and time management 

Role Requirements:

  • Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including drug and alcohol test
  • Ability to work across sites (if required)
  • Previous customer service experience (desirable)
