The Role:
Maxima, and the City of Adelaide, are looking for a dedicated individual to undertake a Business Traineeship within the City Development team.
As the Business Admin Trainee you will provide timely support services to the City Development Team to enable a range of development and activations across the city for businesses, residents, workers and visitors. You will also provide excellent customer service to all customers and stakeholders.
Throughout this 18-month fulltime traineeships you will receive on-the-job training and support by working alongside experienced supervisors and study online towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
Duties Include:
- Assist to manage team inboxes
- Respond to enquiries with exceptional customer service
- Process permit applications and renewals
- Follow-up outstanding permit fees
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and file management
- Additional administrative duties as required

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
Role Requirements:
- Hold a current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Previous customer service experience (advantageous)
- Hands on experience with technology, including Microsoft Office
