Maxima is seeking a reliable and motivated Civil Worker to join our client’s dynamic Works & Infrastructure team based in the northeastern suburbs.
About the role
This is an ongoing casual position, working in a Local Government role, on a 9-day fortnight, with a great team environment and safety culture.
Your duties will include:
- Construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths, drainage, and public infrastructure
- Operating plant and equipment (e.g. loaders, trucks, rollers)
- Traffic management and site safety
- Undertaking manual labour as part of a team
- Assisting with emergency response operations (e.g. storm clean-up)
About you
You are an experienced civil worker with the following certification and attributes:
- HR or MR truck license (or willingness to obtain)
- Construction White Card
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork
