The Role:
Location: Kotara NSW
Duration: 12-month Traineeship
As a Clinical Assistant Trainee, you will gain experience across customer service and clinical support, while you support and empower clients of all backgrounds. Working side by side with people who go the extra mile, you’ll also love the feeling of helping children and adults who need you.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
- Greet clients and attend to all counter and telephone enquiries
- Cover reception and undertake general administration duties including booking client appointments, processing claims, data entry and monthly reports
- Liaise with clients comprising of children and adults, some with complex needs, as well as clients with multicultural & Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds
- Perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting
- Assist Clinicians with the provision of clinical services including identifying client needs, offering professional advice and demonstrating the use of hearing aids
- This role will require regular travel to remote communities in various locations

Eligibility Criteria:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Current driver’s licence
- Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to build rapport with a variety of people and groups
- Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
