The Role:
Location: Murray Bridge SA
Duration: 18-month Traineeship
As a Corporate Services Trainee, you will rotate though several departments within council including People & Payroll, Communications & Marketing and IT & Records ensuring exposure to a broad range of tasks and skills.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service to various stakeholders
- Answer incoming and outgoing enquiries, via phone and email
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and file management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards
- Assist with projects and community events as needed
- Assist with the preparation of agendas and taking minutes for team meetings.
- Additional administrative duties as required
About You:
To be successful in this Traineeship, you’ll need:
- Passionate about your local community
- Ability to build rapport with a variety of individuals
- Exceptional communicator, written and verbal
- Fantastic attention to detail
- A “can do attitude” and a willingness to learn
- Ability to stay organised and meet deadlines
Role Requirements:
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient computer and typing skills, including Microsoft Office
