Customer Service Business Traineeship

The Role:

Maxima, and Mount Barker District Council, are looking for a motivated individual to undertake a Business Traineeship.

Throughout this 18-month fulltime traineeship you will receive on-the-job training and support by working alongside experienced supervisors and studying online towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Duties Include:

  • Respond to all phone calls received in the call centre under supervision from Customer Service staff
  • Receipt all monies received by Customer Service and assist with end of day balancing of tills and preparing the daily bank deposit
  • Contribute to the preparation of Section 7 Statements as required
  • Assist with customer enquiries at the front counter
  • Assist customers with registration of animals via the State Government DACO (Dogs and Cats on Line) system both at the front counter and over the phone
  • Contribute to a cohesive, supportive and effective Customer Service Team
  • Assist with other duties as directed by the Customer Service Team Leader

Role Requirement:

  • Driver’s licence and access to reliable vehicle 
  • Hold a current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous customer service experience (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Suite, Outlook (or similar)
