The Role:
Maxima, and the City of West Torrens, are looking for three motivated individuals to undertake a Business Traineeship based at the Civic Centre in Hilton.
Throughout these 18-month fulltime traineeships you will receive on-the-job training and support by working alongside experienced supervisors and study online towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
Duties Include:
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional customer service both in person and over the phone
- Handle incoming calls and emails and direct them appropriately
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and file management
- Assist with projects and community events as needed
- Rotate across three departments to assist and learn in different areas of the Council
- Additional administrative duties as required

Role Requirements:
- Hold a current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Previous customer service experience (advantageous)
- Hands on experience with technology, including Microsoft Office
- Driver’s licence not required for this position
