Dental Receptionist Traineeship

The Role:

Located in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, this entry level full-time opportunity is great for those who love working with people, thrive working under pressure and are looking for a gateway into the dental industry. 

Across 18-months gain on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals as well as paid study towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Duties Include: 

  • Welcome patients and visitors
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails and follow-up where required
  • Create and update patient records
  • Manage patient bookings including calendar management, scheduling, reminders, cancellations and waitlists
  • Process payments and private health rebates 
  • Maintain reception and waiting area
  • Sterilise dental instruments when required

About You:

  • Genuine interest in dentistry
  • Can build rapport with a variety of individuals 
  • Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual 
  • Works effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
  • Efficient organisational and time management skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure 

Role Requirements:

  • Background Clearances (or willing to obtain)
  • Relevant vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft packages
