About the Role:
Maxima’s long-term and valued client is searching for a professional, motivated and well-presented Enrolled or Registered Nurse to join their team in a permanent, full time role at their specialist clinic. Working across their 3 practices (Glenelg, Morphett Vale and Wayville), the focus of this role is to provide efficient and streamlined clinical services to patients and consultant surgeons. In a busy practice where staff are highly valued and work in a positive environment where you can make a difference. As a member of the clinical team you will interact with and assist the specialists, support patient needs and work as part of a dynamic team.
Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting specialists with procedures
  • Patient care and education
  • Pathology results and patient consent management
  • Infection control
  • Clinical testing and patient work ups
  • Medical stock maintenance and control
  • Managing clinical areas, including cleaning, maintaining equipment and an understanding of both onsite and offsite sterilisation protocols.

About You:
The successful candidate will be a positive, responsible, self-motivated person with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements for this role include:

  • Relevant qualifications (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Driver’s licence and car (as this role requires travel between practices)
  • Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills
