Your Host Employer:
 
Our Host Employer is proudly Australian owned and has been a top aluminium fabricator in South Australia for the past five years. They supply high-quality aluminium windows and doors for commercial and residential markets, serving Adelaide and regional areas for over 25 years.
 
The Role:
 
Location: Pooraka SA
Duration: 48-month Apprenticeship
 
As a Glazier Apprentice, you will assist to install glass for commercial and residential customers. This role will require you to travel between work sites
 
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Measure and cut glass
  • Install aluminium frames
  • Smooth and polish edges
  • Fabricate and install glass and windows
  • Glass repairs and replacement

 
About You:
 
To be successful in this Apprenticeship, you will need:
 

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A reliable work ethic
  • An eye for detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and take initiative
  • Great team player and can work independently

 
Eligibility Criteria:
 

  • Provisional or full driver’s licence with reliable vehicle
  • Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labour work
  • Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
  • Previous experience or pre-vocational certificate (desirable)
