Maxima has been engaged to recruit a suitably qualified Gym Instructor for our high-profile client, located in the Northeastern suburbs.
About the Gym
It’s a state-of-the-art gym in community focused facility, incorporating fitness, sports, and aquatic programs.
The facility also has a cafe, and its member base varies in age (35% seniors).
About the Role
Operating on a casual basis, you will be required to complete the following tasks:
- Provide high quality customer service through the assessment, development and delivery of individual fitness programs for club members of a variety of ages
- Achieve fitness assessment targets
- Develop and foster a club culture amongst members and promote other fitness and recreation activities
- Maintain a standard of cleanliness with the gym & equipment
About You
You are an experienced Gym Instructor, who is flexible, hardworking and friendly. You have the ability to develop a rapport with a broad range of people and enjoy helping customers to achieve their fitness goals.
You also have or are willing to attain the following certification:
- Certificate IV in Fitness
- Fitness Australia Registration
- National Police Clearance
- DCSI or Working with Children check
- Child Safe Environments Training
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
The Centre operates 7 days per week until 10pm so flexibility with availability is important. The Benefits:
