Our Client

Located in the North Eastern suburbs, our client, The ARC Campbelltown, is looking for an experienced Health Club Supervisor to join their team. This high-profile facility provides state of the art aquatic, fitness, sports, café, function and crèche facilities.

The Role

This amazing opportunity is on offer as a contract position where you will have the chance to stamp your personal flair on this role.
This role is initially offered on up to a 2 year full time or part time contract between 30 and 38 hours (roster flexibility ranging from 6am – 8pm Mon to Sun).
Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising, training and motivating gym instructor staff to deliver awesome customer service
  • Maintaining a culture in the health club of respect, integrity, teamwork, leadership and customer focus
  • Assist in developing and implementing specific fitness programs and membership retention and marketing strategies and communicating with internal stakeholders
  • Engage with members to provide high quality customer service through the assessment, development and delivery of individual and group fitness programs
  • Complete monthly management reporting
  • Oversee the PT contractor and other external programs as required

About You

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, engaging candidate who knows how to get the best from your staff. As an experienced health club supervisor you have exceptional people skills, flexibility with the hours you can work and enjoy leading and inspiring your team. During your career you have worked with a variety of members ranging from 15 to 70 years of age.
Qualifications required to be considered for this position include:

  • Minimum Cert IV In Fitness or equivalent
  • A current National Police Clearance 
  • A DCSI Working with Children check
  • Child Safe Environments Training
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Registration with Ausactive (desirable)
