The Role:
Location: Glenside SA
Duration: 12-month Traineeship
As an Information Technology Trainee, you’ll be part of a dynamic helpdesk team, providing tech support to staff and customers. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of IT systems and infrastructure, building the skills to pursue a career in any IT domain.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
- Respond to IT related enquiries and support requests from staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on IT equipment
- Liaise with vendors to escalate issues and for maintenance
- Report on ticketing and system issues
- Work with Google and Android technologies
About You:
To be successful in this Traineeship, you will need to:
- Have a genuine interest in IT and a strong desire to learn
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Have high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Show initiative and have a proactive attitude
- Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Role Requirements:
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of Google or Microsoft Suite of applications and operating systems
- Customer service experience (desirable)
