Immediate start for someone with broad HR generalist experience to fill a 3 month temporary position, based in the Northern Suburbs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End to end IR case management
- Providing advice on legislation and policy
- Position Description/Evaluation
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates and conducting interviews
- Develop and oversee new hires, onboarding and the employee termination process
- Conduct effective HR practices including but not limited to staffing, employee relations, performance management, and other related activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and legal responsibilities
- Supporting and advising Managers in the development of initiatives to address the outcomes of employee engagement pulse survey
- Guiding and facilitating change management processes in accordance with documented policy and procedure,
- Coaching Managers in performance improvement and investigation of disciplinary
matters - Working together with the Learning and Development Partner to ensure the effective
delivering of training, programmes/workshops
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- Min 5 years’ Human Resources experience
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong attention to detail
- A team player with the ability to work well under pressure and work effectively with all key stakeholders
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, ER, and best practices
