The Role:
This 3-year fulltime traineeship will see you getting paid to study, receive continuous mentoring and work towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Irrigation Technology.
Duties Include:
- Install and maintain and audit pressurised irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system faults
- Read and interpret irrigation plans
- Implement efficient irrigation schedules
- Install and terminate low voltage wiring systems
About You:
- Enjoy working outdoors and with garden tools
- Be committed, reliable and hardworking
- Manage and prioritise time when working under pressure
- Work effectively in a team
- Good communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude, displaying initiative on the job
Role Requirements:
- Provisional or full driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Physically fit and healthy due to undertake manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar (advantageous)
