With growing demand, they’re looking to welcome a new team member to support their construction and maintenance operations.
The Role:
Location: Largs North SA
Duration: 36-month Traineeship
As an Irrigation Technician Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience installing, servicing and maintaining irrigation systems across a variety of projects.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
- Install and maintain pressurised irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system faults
- Read and interpret irrigation plans
- Implement efficient irrigation schedules
- Setup traffic management systems
- Install and terminate low voltage wiring systems
- Travel between worksites (daily travel allowance may be claimable, conditions apply)
About You:
To be successful in this Traineeship, you’ll need to:
- Enjoy working outdoors and using garden tools
- Be committed, reliable and hardworking
- Prioritise tasks effectively under pressure
- Work well both independently and in a team
- Have great communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude and be willing to learn
Role Requirements:
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol screen
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar (advantageous)
