The Role:
Location: Largs North SA
Duration: 36-month Apprenticeship
As a Landscape Construction Apprentice, you’ll assist in creating high quality outdoor environments, gaining hands-on experience in construction techniques, irrigation systems and garden maintenance.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
- Landscape construction techniques including paving and concreting
- Build brick and block structures
- Turf and soil management
- Garden maintenance
- Install irrigation and drainage systems
- Safe use of tools and machinery
About You:
To be successful in this Apprenticeship, you’ll:
- Enjoy working outdoors and using garden tools
- Be committed, reliable and hardworking
- Manage and prioritise time when working under pressure
- Work well in a team and independently
- Communicate clearly and show initiative
- Have a can-do attitude and willing to learn
Role Requirements:
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol screen
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar (advantageous)
