Maximas’s client, a well-known local Council, are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planning Officer for an assignment based in Marsden.
This position will see you provide field and admin support to the Road Construuction and Maintenance Branch in the development, management and delivery of maintenance programs across all road and drainage infrastructure.
On offer is a casual hourly pay rate of $39.00 + super working Monday to Friday with the option of a 9-day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Data collection for maintenance programs
- Identify proactive and reactive works
- Job inspection and preparing job briefs
- Provide technical direction and support
- Investigate and resolve complaints and enquiries
- Investigate damage to Council assets
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current C class drivers license
- White Card
Selection Criteria:
- Cert IV in Construction, Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent – highly regarded
- Sound working knowledge of the principles and practices involved in Road Maintenance operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of computer based maintenance systems, PDA’s/GPS devices and software applications eg. MS Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint
