Our client is seeking a Parks and Gardens Maintenance Operator on a 9 day fortnight roster for 6 months with a possible extension.
Skills:
• Demonstrated experience in general maintenance
• Experience in use of Power tools
• Horticulture or Turf qualification (desirable).
• Current MR or HR class drivers licence.
• Construction Induction Card.
• Basic Worksite Traffic Management certificate.
• Sound knowledge of safe work practices in a parks environment
• Chainsaw Competency certificate.
• First Aid certificate.
• Sound experience in large scale parks maintenance.
• Experience in the safe and effective use of parks maintenance plant and equipment.
• Tractor driving experience.
• Experience in using a powered spray unit.
• Experience in working to maintenance schedules
• Possession of current C Class drivers licence
• Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance
