Job Title: Civil Plant Operator
Location: North and Western Suburbs of Adelaide
Hours: Monday to Friday, Casual Full-Time Hours
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour
About the Role
The successful applicant will play a crucial role in preparing grounds and setting up burial sites and cemetery services. Duties include operating plant machinery such as excavators, front-end loaders, and other similar civil machinery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the preparation of burial sites, including digging graves and positioning headstones
- Providing excellent customer service to families and visitors
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of cemetery buildings, roads, and pathways
- Operating various machinery and equipment, such as excavators, front-end loaders, lawn mowers, and whipper snippers
Requirements
- Current Driver’s License and transport
- Plant machinery tickets (Excavator, Front Loader)
- Previous experience in civil grounds and plant operation
- White Card (Construction Industry Card)
- National Police Check (Or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift License (or willingness to obtain)
