Our Client
Located in the North Eastern suburbs, our client, The ARC Campbelltown, is looking for experienced Pool Lifeguards to join their team. This high-profile facility provides state of the art aquatic, fitness, sports, café and function facilities.
About the Role
Do you enjoy flexibility and being a part of a professional team? The ARC is recruiting for casual Pool lifeguards who are motivated, personable and have a strong work ethic. The pool lifeguards are integral members of the ARC Team and are responsible for the following tasks:
- Supervise the aquatic environment at all times, refraining from distractions
- Promote and enforce appropriate behaviour standards in the aquatic environment and assist in providing an enjoyable and safe recreation experience for guests
- Ensure that the pool deck is well maintained and free from hazards at all times
- Educate members and guests on the Watch Around Water Policy
- Respond to emergency situations in accordance with your training, and report any incident that may have potential safety or security implications
- Perform water rescues where required, in accordance with your lifeguard training. Be prepared to enter the water at any time
- Act as an Area Warden during an evacuation, and attend regular evacuation training exercises
Qualifications
To be successful in securing a position, you must possess all the listed certificates or be willing to obtain them prior to commencing. You should also be available and adaptable to shifts throughout the year. The centre operates 7 days per week until 10pm so flexibility with availability is important.
- A current National Police Clearance
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Provide First Aid Certificate
- Provide CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Child Safe Environments Training/RRHAN
