This Government agency is seeking an experienced Records Officer to assist with their records management function using Objective. This is intially offered as a 3 month position with an option to be extendded.
You will be responsible for
- Promote and communicate good records management practice across the business
- Undertake tasks as directed that contribute to records management
- Ensure that the Records Management System access protocols are understood, applied and maintained
- Ensure existing electronic document and records management procedures and guidelines are continuously reviewed and updated.
- Assist with the management of hard-copy filing system, archiving, retention and disposal processes.
Required skills
- Experience in the maintenance of records management systems and procedures
- Knowledge of records management principles including filing systems, naming conventions
- Experience in the maintenance of electronic records and document management systems (Objective)
- Well-developed analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
- Prior Government experience – highly regarded

- Hold a current police check (within 12 months)
