Senior Grants and Contracts Officer

About the role:
Maxima’s valued client is seeking an experienced Contracts and Grants Officer for a temporary, 5 month assignment. Starting as soon as possible, this role is paying $63.13/hr (casual) + Super. This role can be full time or part time hours for the right candidate.

Supporting the management of grants and contracts for recycling infrastructure, council programs, recycling depots and other projects, requirements of this role include:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience with grants processes drafting grant agreements, contracts and variations
  • Recent contract and/or grant management experience across a range of projects within the public sector – national, state or local government
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively manage relationships with project partners and grant recipients
  • Ability to manage complex and competing timeframes across multiple projects
  • Excellent financial acumen and data analysis skills
  • The desire to work with autonomy while also contributing to a team environment 
  • Experience with databases, data entry and bespoke ICT platforms
