The Role:
The swimming instructor plays a significant role in the successful delivery of the Swim School program offered at the George Bolton Swimming Centre. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading groups of swim school students in well organised and safe aquatic activities.
- Increasing water safety knowledge and swimming skills/abilities.
- Providing a varied range of instructions and drills appropriate to all levels of proficiency.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service to students and families.
Swim School Hours of Operation:
- Monday-Thursday 3:30-6pm
- Saturday 9am-12pm
Further opportunities to upskill and increase hours, with support and training for lifeguard and reception positions.
Required Qualifications:
- DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Licence
- First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Child Safe Environments Training (Or willing to obtain)
