Maxima, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Truck Driver/ Plant Operator to join their team based across several Waste and Recycling Facilities within the Logan region. Dedicated to ensuring excellence in all that they do with high levels of job satisfaction & quality in the service they provide.
These sites include:
- Browns Plains – Primary location
- Carbrook
- Greenbank
- Logan Village
- Logan Recycling Market
Key Responsibilities:
The Landfill Operations team is seeking a Plant Operator to assist with the operations of the following machinery.
– Self Propelled Compactor.
– Dozer.
– Backhoe.
– Loader.
– MR Truck.
If works are not available on the machines mentioned above, the candidate can be rostered to works as a Recycling Attendant.
– Providing direction to customers for recycling.
– Recovering recyclables before they are disposed for landfilling.
– Presenting recovered items for sale in the Logan Recycling Market.
– Directing customers/traffic to maintain exclusion zones to machinery operating at the site.
What we’re looking for:
- MR Truck License
- White card
- Previous Operating and labouring experience
- Ability to undertake labour intense activities
- Knowledge of the operation of various items of plant including but not limited to Float, Tilt Tray, Tippers, Grader, Rollers, Backhoe, Tractor and Excavator
- Able to obtain VOC on above mentioned machinery
