We are currently recruiting for the following roles.

Business Development Consultants

This busy role requires motivated and personable candidates to drive opportunities for people with disability while supporting local employers to meet their staffing needs. Our Business Development Consultants build and maintain networks in the local community and assist with the registration of Customers and placement into newly identified job opportunities. Successful consultants will do this in close consultation with their local Employment Consultant team and will be capable of negotiating specific employment opportunities for Customers.

Maxima will support you to utilise job-carving strategies and assist employers to think outside the box and remove the stigma of disability in the employment sector. We work with our Customers with disability from a ‘strengths’ perspective and believe all Customers are employable now – we just need to match people’s strengths and motivations with the needs of a local business. This is a highly rewarding role which will see you genuinely improve the lives of people with disability, work with a dynamic and caring team and build strong networks in your community.

Employment Consultants

Employment Consultants work one-on-one with our Customers with disability to prepare them for a new career. Successful candidates will meet regularly with Customers to build an understanding of their abilities, motivation and experience and then assist with the identification of career goals and planning. Maxima works with Customers from a ‘strengths’ perspective and believes all Customers are employable now with the right support and opportunity. Our Employment Consultants assist the Customer to implement their employment plan and continue to provide a high level of customer service to assist with obtaining and maintaining employment. Employment Consultants are required to:

  • Case manage Customers, focusing on progressing their skills and abilities all to secure meaningful employment
  • Undertake targeted contacts with local employers to identify employment opportunities and other community groups to support our Customers
  • Deliver group workshops to help build resilience, motivation, work readiness and social connection.

Employment Support Consultants

Success in employment is a key feature of the service we offer. Employment Support Consultants provide individually-tailored support to our Customers with disability and their employers, to maintain employment and strengthen employer relationships. Our Employment Support Consultants are naturally positive and are flexible and responsive to the changing needs of our Customers and their employers.

Day to day activities will require the development of unique strategies to ensure both Customers and employers needs are met. The Employment Support Consultant develops and reviews support plans with their Customers, which outline specific activities and assistance to be provided to the Customer – tailored to their specific needs.

Employment Support Consultants are integral to the Maxima Disability Employment Support offering and provide valued on-the-job and off-the-job support to both our Customers, their employers as and when required.
