Forklift Driver – Supporting Remote Communities
Maxima is proud to partner with a national not-for-profit organisation working to improve access to fresh, affordable food for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across remote Australia.
This role directly supports the delivery of healthy food into communities where access is limited — helping make a real difference every day.

About the Opportunity
You’ll join a supportive warehouse team based in a modern, purpose-built distribution facility in Edinburgh, helping prepare and dispatch fresh produce and grocery orders travelling to remote communities across Australia.
This is an ongoing casual role with full-time hours Monday to Friday, and a clear pathway to permanent employment.
Most importantly — your work contributes directly to community wellbeing.
 
What you’ll be Doing
Working as part of a small team, your role will include:
– Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
– Moving pallets in and out of racking
– Preparing orders for remote community delivery
– Picking and packing fresh produce and grocery items
– Breaking down pallets
– Supporting stock movement within the warehouse
– Maintaining a safe and organised workspace
Reach truck experience is helpful but not essential — training can be provided.
 
About You
We are looking for someone who:
– Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
– Holds a current Forklift Licence
– Is reliable and enjoys working as part of a team
– Takes pride in doing safe, quality work
– Would value working in an organisation supporting remote communities
Warehouse experience is helpful but not required if you are confident operating a forklift.
