The Role:
Location: CBD Adelaide SA
Duration: 24-month full time Traineeship
Maxima, and Calvary Adelaide Hospital, are seeking a motivated individual to undertake an entry-level Accounts Administration Traineeship.
Throughout this 24-month traineeship you will work fulltime and be provided with paid, practical experience alongside experienced supervisors and study towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Accounts Administration.
Duties Include:
- Follow-up outstanding debts with patient and/or patient’s insurer
- Liaise with the debt collection agency on overdue accounts
- Prepare monthly update of debtor’s
- Mail reminder notices to patients for outstanding accounts
- Assist with end of month reconciliations, journals and reports
- Assist with prompt billing to insurers/patients
- Prepare claims for selected health funds
- Process all receipts on the accounts receivable system
- Liaise with health fund staff on account queries
- General administrative duties as required
About You:
- Showcase initiative and problem-solving skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Works effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have effective organisational and time management skills
Role Requirements:
- Current National Police and Working with Child Checks (or willing to obtain)
- Willing to provide Immunisation History Statement
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
