About the Role:
Maxima’s valued client is currently searching for a permanent, part time Administrative Assistant. Based in Hindmarsh, this role is 22.5 hours per week, with the days of the week being negotiable. It is a requirement that the successful candidate be able to work on significant days ie. board meetings, workshops, conferences etc.
This role is in a small and effective team, providing support to the Business Manager and Executive Assistant. This is a varied role, where flexibility and willingness to perform essential services and back up other areas is required.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- General office duties, ie. phone, email and website enquiries
- Administrative support to the President, Board and office staff
- Assisting with event planning, including catering and venue sourcing as required
- Assisting with accommodation bookings for board members
- Taking minutes of meetings, as required
- Processing and monitoring event registration data
- Assist with website management
- Social media management
- Event marketing
- Some intrastate and interstate travel may be required
About You:
- Experience in event management and administration
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and diplomacy
