Position: Administration Officer
Location: Logan Central
Pay Rate: $36.00 p/hr+ super
Contract: PT 3 days per week – 25.5 hours
Maxima is currently seeking highly motivated individual for a PT Administration Officer role for one of our local government clients.
Primary Role Purpose: In this role, you’ll provide clerical and administrative support to the City Administration Facilities Program in the Administration Branch.
In this role, you will:
- Provide carpool coverage on a regular basis including recording and issuing of carpool vehicles, recording of incoming parcels an assisting incoming contractor entering via the Carpool entrance
- Scheduling meeting, distributing agendas, recording and distribution of minutes
- Obtain low value, low risk quotes as required
- Undertake Purchases via purchase orders
- Process invoices for payment
- Assist with the maintenance of registers, issue and order for ID cards, Access cards, keys and locks
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational standards equivalent to QLD Yr 12 and/or commercial training supplemented by work experience
- Knowledge of clerical and admin procedures
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven experience in processing invoices, payments, and financial transactions in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Be self-motivated and demonstrate ability to deal with other officers with tact, understanding and encouragement in performance of duties
- Demonstrated high degree of literacy and numeracy is essential, including the ability to draft accurate business letters and memos
- High level of attention to detail and numerical accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining audit‑ready records
- Previous experience using technology one (Cia anywhere), particularly in purchasing workflows, financial transaction processing, and reporting, would be highly regarded
