Maxima’s Recruitment Services are on the hunt for an Animal & Pest Services Attendant to join their client based in Kingston. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for working with animals and has some experience under their belt, looking to take their next step in their career.
This casual position will see you working up to 34 hours per week with an hourly pay of $34.00 + super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and disinfection of food containers and animal pens
- Changing and cleaning litter boxes
- Exercising and grooming animals and monitoring of animal behaviours
- Retrieving impounded cats and dogs for the kennel operations counter
- Assisting in the presentation of the Animal Management Centre
- Preparing pet food for specific animal needs
About You:
- Current C class driver’s license
- Experience in animal handling and husbandry
- Large animal (stock) knowledge
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Flexibility to be part of the weekend roster
