Your Responsibilities
Depending on your experience and qualifications, your duties may include:
- Truck driving and operation
- Chainsaw operations
- Hedging and formative pruning
- Tree pruning and maintenance
- Block pruning
- Chipper operations
- Tree removal
- Herbicide and pesticide control and application
- Working safely around roads, traffic and the public
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Certificate III in Arboriculture or Horticulture with relevant industry experience – Desirable not Essential
- MR Truck Licence – essential
- Work Zone Traffic Management – essential
- Chainsaw Ticket – essential
- White Card
- National Police Clearance or willing to obtain.
- Pass a Pre-Employment medical.
- Work Safely at Heights – highly desirable
- Previous Arboriculture or Local Government experience will be highly regarded
You’ll also need a strong commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship and working effectively as part of a team.
