About the Role:
This is hands-on, physical work focused on keeping public spaces safe, functional, and well-maintained.
You’ll be working with experienced teams carrying out tree maintenance, removals, and working at heights across council sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tree pruning, trimming, and removals
- Operating chainsaws, chippers, and arborist equipment
- Working at heights (climbing or EWP)
- Responding to storm damage and tree hazards
- Maintaining streetscapes, parks, and reserves
- Following strict WHS and safety procedures
To Be Successful:
- Chainsaw experience/ticket (essential)
- Experience working at heights (EWP or climbing)
- Working at Heights ticket
- MR/HR Licence (highly regarded)
- White Card
- Arboriculture qualification (desirable but not essential for all levels)
- Strong safety awareness and physical fitness
- Reliable with a solid work ethic
