Position: Billing Officer
Location: Fortitude Valley
Pay Rate: $33.75 – $38.75 + super
Contract: Mon – Fri
Maxima is currently seeking highly motivated individual for a Billing Officer position in Shared Services.
Primary Role Purpose: This role provides a wide range of high quality, customer focused and efficient administrative and support services to assist the effective operations of the Revenue Services Team.
In this role, you will:
- Investigate meter reading and metering anomalies
- Interpret, manage and transfer property data received from governing bodies
- Apply, cleanse and review charges to ensure company complies with legislative and business obligations
- Support the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines and protocols
- Carry out a range of customer service activities, including handling customer cases and enquiries
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Current national police check or willing to obtain
- Billing experience and metering experience highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively without supervision
