Business Intelligence Trainee | Eastern Suburbs
Are you passionate about programming and data analytics and looking for a pathway into a long term and rewarding career? Our client is a large organisation with 30 locations across Adelaide, with its head office based in Glenside.
Maxima in conjunction with our client, are currently seeking a motivated individual to complete an 18 or 24 month Business Intelligence Traineeship.
This rewarding entry-level position is extremely diverse and will see you working full time to gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in IT – Business Analytics or Certificate IV in Information Technology ~ Data Analysis, (depending on prior qualifications). Receive paid study, continuous mentoring and hands-on experience to kickstart your career within the IT and data analytics industry.
In this role, you will develop your skills while supporting the following key duties:
- Working with the Business Intelligence Team to develop dashboards, reports and data extracts
- Performing basic SQL queries, data preparation and data quality checks under guidance
- Supporting the maintenance of BI tools, data warehouse environments and documentation
- Providing user support, helping with training and troubleshooting BI‑related queries
- Contributing to gathering business requirements and assisting with project activities
- Participating in system testing, following change processes and helping drive continuous improvement

Skills and Experience:
- Current driver’s licence and own transport is essential
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Completion of a related course would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of aged care standards or experience in the industry is helpful but not required
