The Role: 

Maxima, and ANZ, are looking for a committed individual to undertake a Business Traineeship as a Customer Care Officer.

This position provides an opportunity to engage with local community as Customer Care Officer. As the first point of phone contact for ANZ, you will provide high quality customer service, assisting with enquires across all ANZ products and services. This role can be based in the office in VIC CBD, NSW, SA, WA or QLD.

You will work fulltime alongside experienced contact centre staff to gain hands-on work experience to develop a range of skills and knowledge in the industry. On top of this, you will also receive paid study time towards achieving a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Duties Include:

  • Respond to incoming and outgoing enquiries 
  • Update and maintain client files
  • Escalate and delegate customer needs where required 
  • Coach customers to use digital banking tools
  • Recommend relevant financial products, services and solutions
  • Additional administrative tasks as required 

About You:

  • A demonstrated connection and passion to support the First Nations Community
  • An interest in the finance and banking industry 
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Exhibits a passionate and positive work attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates proficient problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and comply with instructions to facilitate this

Role Requirements:

  • Identify as First Nations Australian
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous customer service experience (desirable)
  • Active user and promoter of technology
