The ARC Campbelltown is seeking an enthusiastic Café Assistant to join our friendly café team.
Located within one of Adelaide’s leading aquatic, fitness, sports and recreation facilities, our café is a popular hub for members, families and visitors throughout the week.
This position is ideal for a university student or someone seeking regular afternoon, evening and weekend work.
What We Can Offer
- Regular rostered shifts with the opportunity to grow your hours
- Approximately 15 hours per week initially
- Potential to increase to 20–25 hours per week in the future

Availability/Reliability
We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you will ideally be available:
- Friday afternoons and evenings (until 9:00pm)
- Both Saturday and Sunday
- Additional afternoon shifts commencing from approximately 3:00pm
About the Role As a Café Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers by:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Preparing and serving food and beverages
- Making quality coffees and teas using commercial coffee equipment
- Operating the Point of Sale system and processing transactions
- Maintaining clean and well-presented dining and service areas
- Restocking displays and service counters
- Assisting with dishwashing and general café cleaning duties
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
About You
You are someone who enjoys interacting with people and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. You thrive in a busy environment, work well within a team and are willing to learn.
Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience will be highly regarded, particularly coffee-making experience.
You will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Food Safety Training
- Child Safe Environments Training
