Chef Apprenticeship

The Role:

Maxima has multiple Host Employers across Adelaide that are looking for motivated individuals to kickstart their kitchen pathway. 

These 4-year full-time opportunities will see you working alongside culinary supervisors where you will become equipped across all kitchen areas and receive formal training towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Duties Include:

  • A la carte menu cooking
  • Prepare meals including functions and desserts 
  • Stock rotation
  • Produce quality dishes in a timely manner 
  • Cleaning tasks 

About You: 

  • Live and breathe all things food
  • High attention to detail 
  • Ability to work under time constraints and remain calm
  • Strong communication skills
  • Can work independently and within a team environment

Role Requirements: 

  • Ability to work across a 7-day roster
  • Ability to work multiple shifts including morning and night 
  • Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar (preferred but not essential)
