Maxima are looking for a reliable and hardworking City Clean Team Members to join our Local Government client’s teams and help maintain clean, safe and attractive public spaces across the community.
The role:
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Cleaning streets, footpaths, parks and public areas.
- Collecting litter and removing dumped rubbish.
- Responding to clean-up requests and public hazards.
- Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs.
- Using council vehicles, tools and equipment safely.
- Working with the team to complete daily tasks.
- Providing professional and friendly service to the public.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, hardworking and safety focused.
- MR Licence (Essential)
- White Card (Essential)
- Previous Local Government experience (Desirable but not Essential)
- Comfortable with physical, outdoor work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A good communicator with a positive attitude.
- Experienced in cleaning, maintenance, labouring or similar work.
- Current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain.
- Pass a Pre Employment medical.
