Are you motivated, reliable and keen to build a career in civil construction? This is an opportunity to join RJ Civil Group, an experienced civil construction and earthmoving company with more than 40 years of experience delivering major infrastructure and development projects across Adelaide.
As a Civil Construction Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and develop practical skills across civil construction, site preparation, excavation and plant operations.
The Role:
Location: Starting at 7am from different sites across Adelaide
Duration: 36-month Apprenticeship
As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Assist with civil construction, site preparation and excavation
- Learn how to safely operate plant and equipment
- Work across a variety of new land development projects
- Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Work alongside and learn from qualified tradespeople
- Develop practical skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in civil construction, particularly pipe laying and/or plant operations
- Is enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is reliable and committed to full-time work
- Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Has good communication skills
- Has sound numeracy and literacy skills
- Holds a current White Card, or is willing to obtain one
- Holds a minimum P1 driver’s licence
- Has reliable transport to and from site each day (own vehicle or reliable shared transport arrangement)
