Maxima are seeking an experienced Civil Labourer and Truck Driver to deliver efficient and effective civil maintenance and construction field operations and services, and drive and operate a rigid truck including water truck and/or tipper body. On offer is a casual hourly pay of $44.19 + super based in Noosaville.
Key Duties:
- Safely load and drive trucks with an awareness of the road rules and regulations and the load
restraint rules and regulations - Ensure that plant is kept in a safe, clean and serviceable condition
- General construction and maintenance labouring tasks associated with, but not limited to:
concreting, kerb and channelling, stormwater drainage, roads, roadside assets, bridges, foreshores
and reserves, removal and disposal of debris - Ensure that all work is carried out in a timely manner to the required quality standards
- Participate, as required, in the after-hours duty roster and provide assistance during emergencies
such as floods, bushfires etc
Successful Profile:
- HR truck driver
- White Card
- Experience and ability to operate and undertake general maintenance of relevant civil construction plant and machinery
- Demonstrated ability to safely load and drive trucks with an awareness of the road rules and
regulations and the load restraint rules and regulations - Physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy
lifting, bending and climbing - Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member of a high performing team
