Position: Customer Service Officer (Phone, Email, Chat)

Payrate: $39/hr + super
Maxima is currently seeking various highly motivated individuals as Customer Service Office for one of our government clients.
About the Role:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will deliver best value front-end customer services in person, by telephone and via electronic media through our customer service centres (contact centre and service counters) and corporate reception counter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of customer service to our external and internal customers alike
in an accurate, appropriate and efficient manner - Actively attend to, resolve and if necessary redirect customer enquiries (telephone, in person {counter}, via electronic media or written) within appropriate levels of responsibilities and training
- Identify and assess requests for information and/or services and respond based on information available
- Process payments received from customers
- Research and seek out information required by customers in the most direct and efficient manner and/or escalate customer
request to a Team Leader if necessary
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated customer service skills with extensive experience in a contact customer service centre
- Ability to engage with members of the public, internal and external stakeholders; delivering excellent customer service to our external and internal customers alike
- high level of written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and diffuse escalated situations both in person and over the phone
- Ability to work under pressure and to make prompt reliable decisions within the bounds of allocated responsibilities
Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Customer Contact or a related qualification
