Maxima’s Recruitment Services are seeking a Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their client, Logan City Council for an initial 6-month contract based in Marsden.
Immediate start available with an hourly rate negotiable depending on skill set – $47-$50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair fleet vehicles, plant, trucks and miscellaneous equipment.
- Fault finding and brake testing
- Provide apprentices with on the job training
- Carry out minor body repairs including fabrication, welding and spray painting where required
About You:
- Current C class license – HR license advantageous
- Certified Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter
- White Card or willing to obtain within 3 months of commencing
- Experience working on small, medium and heavy vehicles
- Available for an immediate start
