The Role:
Maxima, and our Host Employer, SA Health -Digital Health, are looking for motivated individuals to undertake an Information Technology Traineeship. There are multiple positions available.

These entry level opportunities will see you working full-time, providing efficient and effective helpdesk support to staff and customers. With exposure to a range of IT infrastructure, systems and issues, you will grow your skills and experience while rotating within 7 business unit departments through the 2-year traineeship.

Your traineeship incorporates study, Certificate IV in Information Technology, through Tafe SA with a choice of a study stream (networking, programming, system admin support), gaining industry experience and working with supportive supervisor on site and a dedicated Maxima consultant.
  
Duties Include:

  • Handle incoming IT related enquiries and requests from staff
  • Provide tech support and troubleshooting
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance to IT equipment
  • Liaise with vendors to escalate issues and maintenance
  • Gather reports on ticketing and system issues
  • Work with a mixture of Microsoft, Google, Android, and Apple technologies

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and juggle various deadlines

  
Role Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications and operating systems
  • Hold a National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)  
  • Cannot have completed a Certificate IV in IT or higher (e.g. Bachelor or Masters)
