Maxima are seeking compassionate and motivated Employee Support Workers to join our client’s team based in Adelaide’s South in a supported employment environment. In this role, you will empower individuals with disabilities to develop skills, build confidence, and participate in meaningful work.
About the Role:
As an Employee Support Worker, you will provide hands-on support to participants in a workplace setting, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive environment. Our client is a South Australian owned company who specialise in providing meaningful work for people with disabilities in the packaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support participants with daily work tasks and promote independence
- Assist with workplace duties such as packing, assembly, and preparation
- Ensure a safe, organised, and compliant work environment
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns
- Complete documentation including progress notes and incident reports
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, empathetic attitude toward people with disability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow processes and support diverse needs
- Experience in disability support (preferred but not essential)
- Certificate III in Disability, Community Services, or similar (desirable)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
