Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Program Management Office Specialist for a full time permanent opportunity based in Fremantle.

Reporting to the Manager EPMO, the role supports and mentors’ business leaders, project managers and external partners to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. The EPMO Specialist drives improved project outcomes by consistently evaluating project performance, identifying and guiding improvement opportunities and ensuring alignment with established frameworks. The role ensures projects are resourced to maximise the success and impact on organisational objectives.

Key duties

  • Provide core project leadership, management and development and delivery services for a portfolio or program of projects.
  • Manage the development of scopes, goals, deliverables and KPIs for projects including timelines, tasks, resources and risks.
  • Prepare investment plans, including business cases for multiple initiatives.
  • Provide support for budget preparation and facilitate approvals through the different gates.
  • Monitor programs of work and prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and data.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant qualifications in program/project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of multiple, complex, programs or projects and the management of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in investment plans and business case development is preferred

  • Well-developed financial and budget management skills.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to deliver high quality outcomes under pressure, by prioritising fluctuating workloads.
  • Extensive understanding of project and program management principles and ability to apply those in a variety of projects.
