The Stretton Centre is a regional business hub which provides co-working and bespoke office spaces as well as professional meeting spaces within their state-of-the-art facilities.

The Playford Civic Centre is home to the iconic Shedley Theatre, the Shedley bar, Playford Library, Customer Care Centre and Council Chambers and offers multi-purpose function and meeting rooms.

The Role:

Location: Elizabeth SA
Duration: 18-month Traineeship

As the Events and Administration Trainee, you will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and support with the day-to-day coordination and general operation of the Stretton Centre and Playford Civic Centre.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:

  • Venue set up, including quoting on room hires, assisting with venue tours and catering
  • Manage customer feedback through engagement surveys
  • Support the Venue and Operations Coordinator with internal and external events
  • Assist the Manager Business Development and Venue Operations Coordinator with Stretton and Civic Centre visitors, building maintenance reporting and cleaning reporting
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the Stretton Centre and Playford Civic Centre
  • Additional administrative tasks as required

Role Requirements:

  • National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous customer service experience (desirable)
  • Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
