Location: Brisbane City, Logan, Newstead
Pay Rate: $36 – $42 per hour (depending on skills and qualifications)

Maxima’s Recruitment Services is currently seeking highly motivated individuals for the positions of Administration Officer / Manager Support Officer / Contract Admin / WHS Admin for one of our clients.

Reports to: Contracts Administration Supervisor

Internal Liaison: The Mayor and Councillors, CEO, Deputy CEOs, Managers, Line Supervisors and operational staff

External Liaison: Members of the public, community organisations, businesses, government and statutory authorities

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will provide essential clerical and administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

  • Provide administrative support to the City Administration Program.
  • Regularly cover carpool duties including vehicle recording and customer guidance
  • Schedule meetings, distribute agendas, and record minutes.
  • Obtain quotes and process purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintain intranet information and assist with register maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as required within the employee’s skills and training.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a current “C” class driver’s license.
  • Relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in Government.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with others tactfully.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.
